STAND FIRM IN THE FAITH
Living a Christian life requires us to make choices that don't always come naturally. We can no longer let our flesh choose the path we will go down if we want to become the people that God wants to make us into! Instead, we must become watchful men and women who stand guard over our lives. Imagine playing a game of "Capture the Treasure." If you are not proactive, surely the enemy team will come in and take as much of your "treasure" as they can get from you! In a similar way, we are commanded to be on the alert and live courageously, protecting and growing the work of God in our lives! We were made to stand and fight in the exciting battle that leads to the ultimate victory at the end of it all.

"Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong."

ANNOUNCEMENTS

• Our Man Up! Men's Conference was a great success, and we want to thank all of the amazing men and women who helped make it a reality! May God bless you for how you sowed into the lives of the men who came out!
  
  
  
  

• The Victory Worship Team from Thailand is coming to One Life Church THIS SUNDAY at 6:00 pm! All ages are invited to come out to this free event for a powerful time of worship and testimony as the team encourages us through what God is doing in Thailand! We're looking forward to having a great night, and we hope you'll join us!

• Following the worship night is a fundraiser banquet for the World Missions Continuum Society, the ministry in Thailand led by Dr. Al and Terry Purvis! The banquet is taking place on April 30th at 6:00 pm at Third Day Church, and will include a home-cooked Asian meal and exciting stories of what is happening in Thailand! Tickets are free, but space is limited, so make sure you get one from the Connect Hub if you would like to come. For more info on WMCS, check out their website HERE.

• We're having our yearly "Plan to Protect" training on Friday, May 3rd from 7:00-9:00 pm. If you are a part of any kind of ministry here at OLC, you are required for legal purposes to attend this training session! We ask that you please make this a priority! Sign-up is in the Connect Hub.  

• A Baby shower for Lainey & soon-to-arrive baby DaRosa is being held here at OLC on May 18th from 2:00-4:00 pm! All ladies (and young ladies!) are invited to come out for a time of encouraging Lainey and celebrating with her in this exciting time.
